The edition combines bowing and left hand fingering advice from Harvey Shapiro, Bernard Greenhouse, and Zara Nelsova along with Dr. Kartman's comprehensive synthesis of these great teacher's ideas.
 
This edition differs from the printed edition in that all extra blank pages used in the printed edition to make page turns work were removed. If you wish to print this and use as your hard copy, it is suggested that you replace the missing pages with blank pages (discoverable by looking at the page numbers) Also, included in the printed edition are fold out pages in the Opus 102 Sonatas because the cellist has no chance for a sensible page turn at page 49 and page 56 because of the attaca last movements.
